Annotate, rate and rediscover every road you ride.
MapMyRoad is a web app for cyclists, gravel riders and runners to build a personal atlas of road segments and points of interest — rated by surface quality, traffic, scenery, steepness and more.
How it works
RideHead out on your bike, gravel ride, or run — same as always.
AnnotateDraw the road or spot you noticed, and rate it: surface, traffic, scenery, steepness.
BrowseYour ratings build into a personal, searchable map of every road you've covered.
PlanSee those ratings right on Strava's route builder next time you're plotting a ride.

See it in action

Draw a segment freehand, or let it snap to the road for you.

Rate what you just rode across five dimensions: overall, surface, traffic, scenery, steepness.

Fine-tune what you see: grading mode, lap flagging, surface types, weather.

Already have a track? Import a GPX or FIT file instead of drawing from scratch.

The extension's own popup — toggle the overlay and tune your filters.

See your MapMyRoad ratings directly on Strava's route builder.

Works on OpenRunner's route builder too, not just Strava.

- Vehicle encounters, spotted automatically from your Garmin Varia radar data.
- In-ride lap-flag reminders — loop back twice and it's flagged as a good spot, three times and it's flagged as bad.
- More to come!
